As a healthcare professional, your day-to-day activities related to pharmacotherapy are undoubtedly influenced by the increasing number of available medications and the progressively complex nature of drug therapies. Simultaneously, we are aware that these activities are also affected by the rapidly evolving nature of the healtcare field, the ever-growing needs of the population, resource constraints, and challenges in accessing relevant and credible information in real-time, to name just a few. These are all compelling reasons to turn to trusted resources.
Did you know that Vigilance Santé relies on an experienced team of some twenty in-house pharmacists to develop its software solutions and produce content? It is thanks to this invaluable expertise that our 70-employee company can offer healthcare customers products and services they can rely on, perfectly suited to their reality and needs.

Indeed, a dynamic cohort of a dozen of these drug specialists will be at the forefront of our upcoming new blog. Drawing on a wide range of professional backgrounds and expertise, this editorial team will bring a wealth of reliable, relevant, and up-to-date content to all healthcare professionals.

Nathalie Archambault has been a pharmacist with the content team since 2013. Before joining us, she spent some twenty years working in a hospital setting, during which time she was secretary of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Committed to her profession, she has also written numerous columns for specialized journals over a 20-year period.
As you can see, our team brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds – community, GMF (Family Medicine Group), hospital – with varied interests, skills, and professional experiences.
Consequently, this group of experts can offer a unique perspective on the world of medication and the practice of pharmacy, making their new blog a must-read!
Pharmacists play a crucial role in healthcare delivery, leveraging expertise that goes well beyond mere medication dispensing: comprehensive knowledge of medications, drug interactions, treatment protocols, and more. Their encompassing perspective on pharmacotherapy equips them exceptionally well to create a blog that is highly relevant for their peers in the healthcare field.
Therefore, our team invites you today to embark on this knowledge-sharing journey with us, aiming to stimulate reflection on various topics, promote interactivity, and enrich dialogue within the community of healthcare professionals.
We encourage you not only to read our content but also to share your questions, provide feedback, or suggest topics you would like us to address.
In closing, we would like to mention that our first pharmacist to tackle the challenge will be Barbara St-Pierre. In an article to be published on February 15, 2024, she will discuss drug cascades, the role they play in polypharmacy, and how healthcare professionals can detect and manage them.
On that note, we hope you enjoy your reading!
